Football Tournament @ Cheltenham Town FC

We have competed against 19 other teams from various businesses in the area in a Six Aside Challenge last Sunday 16th May 2010.  We have reached the quarter final and unfortunately lost in penalties.  The winners were Trelleborg United from Tewkesbury.
 
Mo, our Marketing Director worked hard towards the event and managed the team to try their best..  thanks Mo...



It was a nice family day out and for sure we will do better next year and win it.
 
 
 
 
 

Smartline @Tewkesbury B2B Event

We have had such a hectic time this month getting ready for the Tewkesbury B2B Networking Event at Tewkesbury Park Hotel our feet have not touched the ground! 

It’s an event being organised by Tewkesbury Borough Council to bring local business people together, and is being hosted at Tewkesbury Park Hotel on 21 April 2010. 

We have been involved right from the start from designing and hosting the B2B website, organising the keynote speakers and specialist business advisers who will be on hand all day to offer free professional advice and guidance. This event brings together over 140 delegates, over 20 exhibitors and sponsors all under one roof. You can rely on us to take care of every last detail to guarantee a successful and enjoyable event. 

The day ran from 9.30 to 3:00 pm.

Abid Naser - Business Star 2009

Abid has been involved with the Tewkesbury Branch of the FSB for a number of years now.   He knows how important it is to support small local businesses, and how difficult it can be setting up a new business in the current economic climate. 

In appreciation of Abid’s hard work and for all the time he has put in supporting the work of the local FSB branch, he has been awarded the prestigious FSB Business Star Award 2009. 

Abid was very surprised to receive the award which was presented to him by Sue Lambert, FSB Branch Chair and Bruce Keen, the branch Regional Representative.   
 
'It was a surprise to me but appreciated that highly.  Fellow committee members of our local FSB branch have put a great effort to assist small businesses in our area and all are dedicated to help when possible.  I do thank them for this award and for the great team effort'.

Curry Friday @ Smartline

We thought Friday afternoon’s needed a helping hand, what with all the doom & gloom about in the media causing negative vibes, so we invited some of our old clients to come and meet some of our new ones for some nice food and a bit of social networking. Z & H Cuisine whom are a new client of Smartline provided the wonderful authentic Indian food which was loved by all, so big thanks to them. Over 30 people attended and the feedback was excellent, so as a result we are planning to do it again, so watch this space...

Breakfast Launch

13 May, 2009
We have successfully launched our first face2face breakfast in the region. The event was held on Wednesday 13th May and it was a great success. Over 30 businesses attended, and as a result we endeavor to hold the breakfast event at least once a month.

The venue ‘Sherdons Golf Centre’ delivered an excellent service all round, so it’s likely that we will use their facilities again.
